The “IAL Handbook of Lichenology” is an illustrated guide designed to aid in the identification of lichen traits. It provides user-friendly descriptions, labelled illustrations, and high-resolution photographs of lichen species that illustrate the trait. The handbook addresses the complexity and variability of lichens in a variety of habitats and eco-geographical regions. It also aims to be multilingual and freely available, making it an invaluable resource for both beginners and experts in lichenology. It is a work in progress, if you want to join us and collaborate in the project, let us know filling in the form.
